Who we are
Annam Naturals is an independent publication about sustainable living. You can reach us at chetanya@beamingads.com about anything on this page, including a request to delete data we hold about you.
What we collect
- Analytics data. Pages visited, approximate country, referring site, device type and time on page. This is collected through cookies and similar identifiers so we can see which articles are useful.
- Newsletter details. If you subscribe, we store your email address and the date you subscribed, and nothing else.
- Messages you send us. The name, email address and message text you submit through the contact form, kept until the conversation is finished.
Cookies
We use two categories. Essential cookies keep the site working and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies are optional, set only with your consent, and can be withdrawn at any time by clearing site data in your browser or using the consent control when it appears.
Advertising
We intend to introduce display advertising to fund the publication. When that happens, third-party ad partners may set cookies or use device identifiers to measure and, if you consent, personalise the ads you see. We will update this page with the named partners before any ad is served, and personalised advertising will remain opt-in where the law requires consent. Non-personalised ads will always be available as an alternative.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links carry a tracking parameter so the retailer can attribute a sale to us. The retailer sees that the visit came from this site; we see only aggregate counts, never who you are or what else you bought. See our disclosure page for details.
Legal basis and retention
Analytics and advertising cookies rely on your consent. Newsletter processing relies on consent, withdrawn instantly by the unsubscribe link in every email. Contact-form data relies on our legitimate interest in answering you. Analytics records are kept for 26 months; contact emails for 24 months; newsletter records until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or complain to your local data protection authority. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
When this policy changes materially — for example when advertising partners are added — we will update the date at the top and note the change in the newsletter.
